An industrial electro-mechanical repair specialist based in the North West of England will shortly be taking delivery of a ZB20 horizontal balancing machine from CEMB Hofmann UK.
The new balancing machine has been ordered due to significant growth in demand for the company’s electric motor repair services.
Once installed, the ZB20 will be utilised to balance smaller electric motor rotors up to 20kgs following refurbishment and repair and will provide the business with additional capacity for the balancing of smaller components.
Having been established for over 22 years, the industrial repair specialist provides electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, variable speed drives and industrial automation solutions to the UK’s manufacturing industries.
An existing client, the new investment is in addition to the ZB300 balancing machine that was purchased seven years ago from CEMB Hofmann UK that balances components up to 300kgs.
Prior to the installation of the ZB300, the electro-mechanical repair business used CEMB Hofmann UK’s contract balancing service but decided to take the capability in-house due to increasing demand for its services.
Installation, calibration and commissioning of the new machine will be completed by CEMB Hofmann UK and full training will be provided. These services will be complimented by an annual service, again carried out by CEMB Hofmann UK’s engineers.
